Albizzia Downs Estate, plans to build 60 units in a 19 acre piece of riparian land LR No. 12422/21 in Muthaiga North, that forms part of the Nairobi River tributaries, in open contravention of the zoning regulations for the area i.e a maximum of one single family dwelling per half acre. The building plans also negate the NEMA Tribunal ruling of Tribunal Appeal No. NET/119/2013 Dated and Delivered on 18th March 2016 where the Appellant was MNRA versus The Director General, NEMA (1st Respondent) and Karura Investments Limited (2nd Respondent) and which, among other directives, included pegging and redesign for plots of ½  half acre, a traffic plan and a pegging of the water course and its riparian reserve.

This petition demands that:

1. Albizzia Downs Estate stops interfering not only with our water sources but acting in contravention of the laid-down regulations on zoning cited above.
2. The Nairobi Governor Sakaja steps in and ensures that all laws and zoning regulations are followed to the letter.
3. NEMA ensures that jurisprudence on the matter is followed and enforced by the authority.
4. MP for Roysambu and MCA Roysambu to be seized of the matter and ensure that the illegal subdivisions stop forwith.
