Within the last years many households made the  switch from cable tv to streaming sites/ platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Max, etc. As of recently Netflix made it impossible for their consumers to share their account with other family and friends if they’re not stationed in the same household, forcing many to either get their own plan or not have Netflix at all. It was one of the main reason I cancelled my subscription because not only could I not share with the people within my family but that their most popular plan was going to be bumped up to $20/ month. But , this petition isn’t about Netflix. I’m not trying to get political or anything to do with the current state of our country but inflation as been at its all time high and it’s truly disgusting. 
For years I’ve been subscribing to Hulu and paying the monthly fee for their no-ads plan. I can’t exactly recall the date I joined and signed up.
When I first subscribed, I was paying $12.99/ month for their service, not too shabby (this was in 2022, from what I can see through my digital banking app). Today I get a notification from Hulu that starting 10/17/2024 the plan I’m currently on will be $18.99/month!! On 10/28/2022, Hulu raised their price once again from $12.99/ month to $14.99/month, I wasn't complaining yet. A year later , $14.99/month went up to $17.99/ month on November 7th, 2023. Back to current time, starting October 17th 2024, Hulu will now charge $18.99/ month for their no ads plan. If you think about it they went from raising $2 one year, to $3 the next to $1 now. And this is every month which in a year adds up!! 

I understand I can simply cancel my subscription but either way, Hulu will keep making revenue by raising the prices however much they want if no one speaks up! From my pov it seems like they don’t have a strategy on how they’re raising their prices.

Maybe im just rambling on about nonsense but I’ve been fed up for a while about Hulu raising their prices and in general larger streaming sites finding ways to make impossible to share your account with others , having to deal with stupid ads or paying more to have them without, and raising the price just like the cable companies do!! When will Hulu stop?? At $30/ month for one streaming site ???? It’s time to get their attention!!!
