Florida House Bill 269 egregiously attacks our First Amendment Right to Free Speech, by introducing "hate speech" laws, which would set a precedent against ALL speech.

H.B 269 claims that political flyering "leads to littering." A democracy is only healthy when the spread of ALL ideas is protected. Our nation was built on political discussion and debate.

The Bill also suggests a "hate crime" in regards to a message suggested by political and religious flyering. "Hate" speech is not to be regulated by the Government, as no individual or institution has the right to define what that entails.

Support this Petition and Protect our Constitutional Rights

• Distribution of political and religious flyers is not littering.
• No individual or institution has the right to define "hate speech" in the confines of their own bias.
