Stop hero blaming on folks who use deadly force on sex offenders/domestic abusers/incels
The Issue
Every time a vigilante takes action against a rapist, sex offender, pedophile, incel, misogynist, or domestic abuser, they inadvertently face a chilling revelation: the deceased predators, even in death, seem to exact revenge. This issue is close to my heart because often, these crimes are viciously underreported, leaving vigilantes feeling that extrajudicial action is the only viable recourse. Yet, instead of being hailed for their bravery, these vigilant heroes are condemned, labeled as barbaric, and ostracized by society. It’s time for a change, one that recognizes and protects these Samaritans instead of vilifying them.
Vigilantes who step in to defend the vulnerable and oppressed are forced to grapple with the stigma of being called criminals, despite acting in the absence of timely legal interventions. The justice system often struggles to protect victims of these heinous acts, leaving vigilantes as the last line of defense. This is a serious societal issue where the perpetrator's death shouldn’t overshadow the violence and trauma they've inflicted.
Statistics reveal that a vast majority of these crimes go unreported due to fear, shame, or inadequate legal responses, compounding the problem for both victims and vigilantes who attempt to uphold justice where the system has failed. Reports indicate that around 60% of sexual assaults are not reported to police, and similarly, domestic abuse and child exploitation statistics show overwhelming gaps in justice.
By automatically granting pardons to vigilantes in cases where they prevent further harm through their actions, we are restoring justice and acknowledging the real issue: predators who manipulate and evade the system long enough to cause irreversible damage. Let's not punish those who interfere in abuse situations with courage and selflessness while society overlooks.
It's crucial to see these vigilantes for who they truly are: defenders of the oppressed who fill gaps created by a failing system. They deserve our respect and understanding, not condemnation. Support this petition to urge lawmakers to implement automatic pardons for vigilantes who intervene in these cases of abuse and violence. Stand with us to stop hero blaming and ensure these brave individuals are recognized as the true Samaritans they are.
Sign this petition to advocate for justice and the protection of those who risk everything to shield others from harm. Together, we can transform societal perception and foster a culture that supports its unsung heroes.
We see this with Aaron Spencer he saved his Daughter from a rapist but somehow Spencer has to respond to being labeled a murderer in the process. We preach to men to stop the abuse and stop the misogyny except everytime they take action its back to back hero blaming. Somehow we have to have a system that labels the hero barbaric all because he had to use deadly force on a predator to stop the abuse. Make summary executions on sex offenders, domestic abusers, rapists, incels, misogynists legal.
