Stop Grogan's Mill Road - Lane Widening Petition

Stop Grogan's Mill Road - Lane Widening Petition
The Issue
Please sign the Change.org petition below to request for The Woodlands Township Board to pass a resolution requesting the removal of the proposed expansion of Grogan’s Mill Road between Research Forest Drive & Woodlands Parkway from 4 to 6 lanes. We need this item removed from TxDOT, HGAC (Houston Galveston Area Council) and Montgomery County transportation plans that was requested several years ago by a former Montgomery County Commissioner. The expansion of Grogan’s Mill road may require removal of the center median, its trees and landscape. The Woodlands community does not want this road expansion and related congestion that is too close to residential areas and a senior assisted living facility. If expanded, it would likely invite increased and un-wanted cut-through traffic through the Market Street area of town along with its related traffic congestion.
