This would be built right next to the Poudre River trail, where families and community members enjoy nature, practice archery, and often wade through the river itself. Not only would this data center be major disruption in the community, and nature, but a risk to the health of surrounding areas. According to Dr. Michael Cork, a Harvard-affiliated health scientist, when data centers use fossil fuels for power, "the increases in air pollution can have real health consequences", and could potentially lead to "99 million a year in health-related damages" in relation to a data center being planned in Warrington VA.
