So from what i found out, apparently next year there will be double the amount of 6th graders coming to ERMS, and the 8th grade house would fit them all. So they swapped it so that they could fit all the 6th graders in the school. An alternate solution would be painting the C house lockers red (or a different color), and the A house lockers yellow (or a different color) so we could experience the red lockers.
