In Loudon County, for the 2025-2026 school year, Eagle Ridge Middle School has decided to add a D House to the school to house elective classes. The county is growing, so they think that this is necessary. However, they also decided to move 8th Grade back to the C house, which usually houses 6th grade. Then, 6th grade would move to A house, which usually houses 8th grade. This is problematic because the locker color for C house is bright yellow and everybody in the school hates the bright yellow color because it hurts their eyes. When this was announced, it caused mass outrage between the future 8th graders and the Admins. Even a few of the teachers have shown their displeasure with the schools decision. All we want is for everybody from Eagle Ridge to sign the petition to stop moving the future 8th graders to C house.
