Stop Funding Hate: GiveSendGo Must Take Down This Racist Campaign

The Issue

A fundraiser launched for a woman who admitted on video to calling a Somali child the N-word at a Minnesota playground has shockingly raised over $675,000. Even more disturbing are the flood of white supremacist comments from donors, with usernames like “White Unity Will Unite” and “White rise.” Though GiveSendGo eventually removed the comments, the fundraiser remains active—effectively rewarding public racial abuse.

One donor chillingly wrote:

“Everyone who truly loves and cares for our people are supporting you every step of the way. Any race traitor will be sent back with the blacks.”

This isn’t just about one woman—it’s about a platform allowing itself to be weaponized by hate.

Crowdfunding platforms have a moral and ethical responsibility not to profit from racism or amplify those who fuel it. GiveSendGo claims to condemn hate, yet continues to host a fundraiser that has become a beacon for white supremacist rhetoric. Whether or not the woman created the page herself, the platform is knowingly delivering hundreds of thousands of dollars to a cause rooted in public harassment and racial abuse.

We demand that GiveSendGo immediately shut down the fundraiser, cancel the disbursement of any funds, and implement strict policies to prevent hate-based campaigns. Keeping this fundraiser live sends one clear message: racism pays.

We cannot let that stand. Shut it down.
