Petition updateStop Forcing Mail-Order Pharmacy as the Only Option of CoverageThis News Reporter States that Hot Mailboxes are Not Good for Medications - Neither are Hot Trucks

This is very interesting. Just so happens to be the exact same insurance company that we are dealing with. The reason why they haven't seen a lot of returns is because some people don't know yet that they're handling their medications improperly. Often, the mail order pharmacy will even tell the customer, "it should be fine" as they know that the manufacturer's guidelines are set for a reason and the manufacturer would suggest discarding the medications as they could have lost potency. Also, we trust them not to just put something that your life depends on in that hot mailbox if it's not safe. I gave my son his medications after being delivered in hot heat in 102 degrees because I didn't think they would do it if it wasn't safe. Afterwards he went into liver rejection.

This video addresses the hot mailbox, but what about the hot and enclosed UPS truck or the hot postal service truck? Those are like low temperature mini ovens just like the mailbox.

This news report was 7 years ago. Nothing has changed in their policies and procedures in 7 years from keeping this from happening to other people. They still ship in hot non temperature controlled cars often in nothing but a bubble mailer. CVS'S reply to this man was well we haven't seen an increase in returns.... the response should be more like, "I apologize that this has happened and we're going to ensure that this never happens again." I hope that together we can insure that one day we get that apology.
