“There’s no physician on the planet who would say, ‘We can either give you IV antibiotics now, or we can give them in two weeks,’” he said. This is what some pharmacies are asking their cancer patients to do only it's not just antibiotics.

Some waiting weeks for the medication their life depends on. This is what is being done to many patients with a variety of conditions. Even a day or two in the delaying of treatment for cancer patients can be life threatening. 

By not allowing these patients to pick up medications at the local pharmacy and causing the delay, the insurance company who needlessly forces mail order pharmacy puts patients in harm's way ONLY so the insurance company and mail order pharmacy's can increase their profits. It's obviously not in the patients best interest.
