I am being taken to court on Wednesday 16th March 2016 for taking my 2 boys on a 5 day holiday in September 2015. They are 6 and 8. My husband and I work hard but are in no way at all well off. We couldn't afford the extortionate prices in the summer holidays so opted for a more affordable holiday just as they went back to school after the summer holidays. The government need to stop dictating what we can and can't do with our children. If your child works hard and attends school regularly then why shouldn't you all have quality time away with each other.
