The issue

·        We have been given no notice or opportunity to know about / participate in discussions about this proposal of such a detrimental significant size and impact

·        It is a huge visual intrusion of mega size and mega height

·        These 4 towers of up to 18 storeys will be a blaze of artificial lights

·        These mega 4 towers will create a huge block to our sunlight and overshadow all around it

·        This huge visual intrusion will overlook everyone and everywhere – we have privacy rights

·        This block of 4 towers with some 200 dwellings, 18 shops, 1 Supermarket and 419 car spaces will add significant car emissions / all other made man emissions / waste, to our environment in substantial negative way

·        We will have so much loud and constant and extra NOISE to our environment and community

·        We will have so much more traffic added to our already busy and congested Kew Junction making us all less SAFE

PROPOSED SITE :

26 – 30 Princess Street ( Leo’s Supermarket ) + PLUS  32 – 36 Princess St + PLUS  11 – 15 Brougham St

PROPOSAL :

4 Towers : dwellings/ retail/ commercial/ car parking/ green space

Towers – 4 Storeys +  4 Storeys + 14 Storeys + 18 Storeys

Traffic

A  2-day Traffic Assessment completed over 2 days ONLY on Friday August 29th and Saturday August 2025 was all the developer and the State Government did.

  • How will all these extra cars from these new and extra dwellings and shops impact the already    constantly busy, congested and often dangerous Princess Street ?                                                         How will High Street leading up to and through Kew Junction be impacted ?
  •  How will Studley Park Road leading up to and through Kew Junction be impacted ?
  • How will Denmark Street, also with its new 500 dwelling plan being built be impacted and impact our Kew Junction community?
  • How will our narrow one-way local Brougham Street be impacted ?

Kew Junction is not just a location; it is our home, and we have privacy rights that need to be respected. We believe in the right to a transparent and fair planning process, where community voices are heard and respected. Therefore, we demand that the fast-tracking of this proposal be halted immediately.
