Fast Fashion must be stopped around the world because of the effects on our planet and on us.

Around the world, people are suffering from the filth of their one outfit because they cannot afford to wash it or buy a new one. Landfills are littered with clothes that are mostly in perfect condition and aren't able to break down so the chemicals used to make these clothes are released and make soil and drinking water dirty as well as releasing Co2 emissions into the oxygen we breathe. 

          But what is causing this disaster and these events to happen?

These landfills are littered by something called fast fashion. Fast fashion is when people are trying to keep up with the changing trends, so they are buying new clothes on average ranging from 3 times a month to every 2-3 months.  Another reason for fast fashion is where brands do not make their clothes in good condition which causes them to tear, rip, and thread comes unstitched which also causes people to throw out their clothes.
