My friends and I have been caught in the destructive cycle of gambling. We've lost money, time, and peace of mind. This is a personal plea from Situation11 . It's a problem that's not unique to us; according to the Alberta Gaming Research Institute, approximately 1% of Albertans are problem gamblers (Alberta Gaming Research Institute). That’s about 40,000 people who are struggling just like us.

The encouragement from others only fuels this harmful habit further.
