Hundreds of thousands of people are learning Welsh on the language learning app Duolingo. Mothballing (no longer updating) the Welsh course means any important errors and general problems within it will no longer be fixed.

If nothing is done, the Welsh Duolingo community will be affected, and further growth of the language may discontinue.
