This video gives you the lowdown of what all the fuss is about - although NB if you're a dog-lover it is a very hard watch.

If you can't bear to watch it, the video shows him stringing up dogs, typically on prong collars, dragging them towards him, continuing to deliver sharp collar-corrections and, frequently, finger-jabs to the dogs' flanks.

The dogs quickly acquiesce - but wearing a muzzle and being half-strangled by the collar, they have little choice.  The dogs' body language - hunched body, tucked tail, the avoidance of eye contact with him and 'whale' eye (where you see a lot of eye white) - betrays that they are terrified, not 'reformed'.  

The Dog Daddy's claim is that his is the only way to change dogs who would otherwise be euthanised but this is simply not true. There are much kinder, scientifically-validated methods of reaching and changing aggressive dogs.

The Dog Daddy was due in the UK to host training sessions in London at an undisclosed location on September 9/10th 2023 - dates that were cancelled at the last minute due to the success of this petition, an outcry on social media and statements/support from the RSPCA, the British Veterinary Association. The Kennel Club and many others including the world's leading canine aggression experts.

However, The Dog Daddy has now announced that he has rescheduled his London dates for January 20th/21st 2024, so this petition remains open.
