We would like to draw your attention to a recent development concerning the Kalinka ensemble in South Australia. The Kalinka ensemble primarily consists of Australian-born children with Russian cultural heritage seeking to display their cultural heritage through performance. Unfortunately, the Minister of Multicultural Affairs of South Australia has denied us the opportunity to showcase our cultural roots at the Multicultural Day. An activity that is well within our constitutional rights. We firmly believe that preserving our Russian heritage through dance and traditions is essential, and this right is enshrined in our constitution.
