Show support for ending abuse of tenants in housing court after lawyers of landlords assisted in transferring their friend: judge Kimberly Slade, in the local court, where they evict tenants, refusing to consider tenants' evidence, blocking any attempts to get evidence from landlords, allowing landlords, without any, written proof, to evict tenants based on their oral narratives and intimidating tactics.

Judge Slade and most active pro landlords law firm of Duskin and Crowe are close friends and she allows these lawyers to present any narratives without verification, screams at tenants when they object, allows intimidation of tenants by court officers standing too close to tenants when the latter complain of one-sided deals.

Judge Slade allows landlord’s lawyers to adjourn cases to one date and, then, changes the date of appearance to an earlier date, without written notice to tenants and, then, marks tenants for default and evicts them.

That is why they desperately try pushing tenants before their, own judge: Slade, who protects any violations of laws by landlords and their attorneys yelling at tenants when they object.

If you are fed up with such abuse, sign the free petition so that accumulated numbers of signatures would result in an investigation of abuse, and replacing landlord’s judge Slade with a more neutral judge. That helps bringing more accountability exposing  abuse of tenants and affordable housing.
