Stop Dehumanization of the Nigerian Girl Child

The Issue

Please stop the proposed removal of Section 29 (4) (b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, thus “any woman who is married shall be deemed to be of full age”. This removal seeks to justify dehumanization of the Nigerian Girl Child and at the same time give constitutional backing to self-righteous sexual predators who thrive on under-age sex, child rape and child marriage.
