What the local authorities say

       Dear friends and petitioners,

       We are advocating for forestry protection especially in the suburban and urban areas of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. We have reached  the environmental officials from Charlotte and Mecklenburg-

        What they have said : is that they would need a federal law in order to start protecting our forestry! 

        We have seen that other NC counties such as around the capital city are advocating for their trees and green space and have restricting regulations that protect against damaging forests, but we , in Mecklenburg County do not have , and " wait " for the federal authorities to regulate when and how to protect our green environment that is the asset for our next generations to come, of our children and grandchildren.
