Thank you to all of the community members that were able to come out to the city council meeting yesterday it was a great turn out. The community was able to express their concerns directly to city council directly about the data center in a peaceful and respectful manner. We learned a couple of things that I wanted to share with everyone.
The first thing is that everyone should sign up to receive a notification once the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is made available to the public. You can email Nancy Huynh or call her directly and ask to be added to this notification.

The second item is that once this report has been made public (us; the community) will have 45 days to raise our concerns. This is why it is very important to sign up for the email notification if you can.
In order to be successful to deliver our concerns and or further questions to city council on the project we will need to keep a list of our concerns and questions. These can be turned in by everyone individually once the (EIR) has been released and within the 45 day period. You can keep a running list however you would like paper or electronic. I will continue to keep tracking everyone's signatures here and also any comments posted by petitioners to also turn in.
I know this seems like a lot of to do’s however this is the only way that we can become organized and ready for next steps. I know there will also be some of our community members that will be organizing some in person communication soon. Once I have details on that I will keep everyone posted.
As I find out additional items, I will let you all know.
