The definition of a NPR (Noise Preferential Route is as follows according to the DAA website:
"Noise preferential routes (NPRs), also referred to as environmental corridors, are a type of flight path. Unless directed otherwise by IAA-ATC, all aircraft taking off from Dublin Airport are required to follow specific NPRs. To minimise impact, NPRs are designed to avoid overflight of built-up areas, where possible."
This is clearly not the case in relation to the motorway in the sky over Ratoath and Ashbourne.
There was no consultation, no Environmental Impact Study (EIS) conducted and the DAA has not adhered to the planning conditions given to the airport by An Board Pleanala.

This is yet another example of planning violations ignored by a semi state organisation, the cost being, your enjoyment of the outdoors, sleep and generally a peaceful existence.
This is not anti-aviation but simply looking for the rule of law to be enforced.
