At this very moment, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) is in a fight for their livelihoods against the major film studios (AMPTP). They are in the midst one of the biggest strikes in history against these gigantic corporations. One of the key issues is AI. They are fighting to protect their likeness, but because there are virtually no AI regulations, they have been left to fend for themselves. You see, all their past movie work, just like all your personal photos, has also been used to create AI systems. They have received no compensation, and worst of all, there is no way for them to even find out if their likeness has been used, nor is there a way for them to delete their work from AI systems once they have been used. It is time for all the citizens and laborers in this country and around the world to stand up for our rights!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the world as we know it. From everyday applications like personalized recommendations and voice assistants to more sophisticated uses in healthcare and transportation, AI's prevalence in our lives is undeniable. But do you know what data is used to train these AI systems? Are you aware that your family's photos and personal data might be in use without your knowledge or explicit consent?

At the Ethical AI Training Organization, we have been deeply concerned about these issues and decided to act. We have proposed a symbolic piece of legislation, the AI Training Transparency Act, to US government officials around the country. This act aims to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical practices in AI, allowing the public to understand the underlying data that trains and shapes AI systems.
