Stop CPS and Family Court Collusion in Miami County, Ohio — End Secret Custody Deals

The Issue

TO: U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Ohio Attorney General, Ohio Family Court, and U.S. Congress

My name is Becka-Lynn:Garrison, and I am a mother from Miami County, Ohio. I am in the working of filing a federal civil rights lawsuit to expose a system that has secretly and systematically stripped families of their children without due process or judicial neutrality.

The evidence? A January 1, 2024 "Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU) signed by Miami County CPS, judges, magistrates, prosecutors, sheriffs, police, and even hospital staff. This MOU outlines a collaborative agreement where these agencies:

  • Predetermine child custody outcomes,
  • Remove children from homes without warrants,
  • Conduct joint interviews outside court authority,
  • And violate the constitutional rights of parents and children.

Judges are not supposed to collaborate with prosecutors and CPS. They are supposed to be neutral.

This MOU is a smoking gun proving the courts in Miami County are not operating fairly, lawfully, or independently. Parents like me—and countless others—have lost their children not because we were found unfit in a real court, but because of secret backroom deals and collusion.

We demand:

1. Immediate federal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division;

2. A court order permanently enjoining the enforcement of this MOU;

3. Restoration of rights to all affected parents and families;

4. Criminal and professional accountability for those who signed and enforced this agreement.

This is not just about my family. This is about YOURS.

If courts and CPS can operate outside the law, no family is safe.

Please sign this petition to expose the truth, support justice, and demand change in the broken family court system.

Let’s make this case a national turning point.
