The long-term effects from exposure to the chemicals wreak complete havoc and chaos on the health and lives of those affected. Many pilots have lost their license to continue flying aircraft due to their exposure and subsequent injuries (Aerotoxic Syndrome). Too many crew (both flight and cabin crew) have had to end their career’s because of Aerotoxic Syndrome. Passengers are generally unaware of the possibility of becoming ill from the contaminated air in aircraft.
