Petition updateStop contaminated cabin air in aircraft!Important Information for Cabin Crew
Trudie DaddCrewkerne, ENG, United Kingdom
Jan 16, 2019

This short film below has been commissioned by the BASSA Union, (British Airways Stewards and Stewardesses Association) and produced by Fact Not Fiction Films.

Bassa and the Unite Union are concerned for their members health and well being.

Dee Passon (former BA Cabin Service Director) explains the importance of reporting fumes in the cabin. It is very important to complete ALL paperwork and to make an entry in the Aircraft Maintenance Log for all incidents of fumes to ensure they are investigated.

While fumes onboard go unreported - more people can become sick (passengers & crew), airlines and regulators can continue to claim that these events are rare and the fitting of filters and sensors becomes a very remote possibility.
