A British Airways A320-200 - Registration G-GATH performing flight BA2578 from London Gatwick to Turin (Italy) Diverted to Paris’ Charles De Gaulle Airport on Wednesday 26 December reporting a burning odour in the cockpit.

A replacement aircraft was sent to collect the stranded passengers and was scheduled to arrive in Turin 5 hours later.
The diverted aircraft remained on the ground in Paris for approximately 24 hours and was positioned back to London Gatwick yesterday (27/12). It was almost immediately put back into service and departed for a round trip to Rinas Mother Teresa Airport (Albania).
It will fly 4 sectors today (28/12) Gatwick/Glasgow/Gatwick and Gatwick/Bordeaux/Gatwick.
