As a proud resident of Chadderton, Oldham, I am deeply concerned about the recent proposal to build four new dwellings on the Wellington Street car park, a space that has long served as a vital resource for our community. This proposal threatens not only our access to convenient parking but also the very essence of our neighbourhood's charm and connectivity.

For years, the Wellington Street car park has provided essential parking for local businesses, visitors, and residents alike. Eliminating this space to make room for residential development would create significant disruptions. Local businesses, which rely on the car park to attract customers from outside the immediate vicinity, would likely suffer a decline in foot traffic due to reduced parking availability.
