Chipotle is making the decision to start keeping stores open till 11pm. Many employees are quitting because of this, as many employees have families to get to, or are high school and college students and can’t stay late. it’s takes about an hour and a half to close the entire store so now all closers will be there til about 12:30am. many people have classes early in the morning, so this extra hour is causing many people to quit, leaving store understaffed. chipotle is keeping store open an extra hour for about an extra $200 and not giving employees any form of a raise. chipotle has started this one the west coast of the US and is slowly moving to the east coast. if we start standing up now we can stop them from moving to the whole country.
