Individuals in China are doing the unthinkable to Cats, Chinese Influencers have been torturing and harming Cats in the most gruelling ways that you could think of which include flushing Cats down the toilet and even setting them on fire.

Not only are these acts of cruelty happening, but what’s worse is that there being shared proudly on platforms like TikTok! videos are being posted, group chats are being formed and these people are not hiding, they are building communities around this cruelty! Cats are being tortured and group chats talk about it if it was nothing, and the sad thing is that this is not the first time this happened.

It turns out that China’s Cat Torture Cult is not the only Cat Torture Cult out there but in fact one of the many cults of the cat torture network as Feline Guardians Without Borders or FGWB for short (a globally recognized organization dedicated to combating online Cat Torture Rings) has documented 24 groups active, the largest of which had more than 1,000 members. The most active torturer is believed to have filmed the torture and killing of more than 200 cats.

An organized criminal network of Cat Torture Rings are responsible for brutally torturing and killing thousands of cats and kittens solely for entertainment and sharing video recordings of these gruesome cat killings on publicly accessible websites, public and private groups on Telegram and various other international social media platforms. 

The Cat Torture Network involve teenagers and young adults from China creating this violent content, taking advantage of the lack of comprehensive animal cruelty laws in China. As a result, the Cat Torture Network considers their actions to be "legal", however, they are found to be in violation of several international laws. 

These Cat Torture Rings are influencing young adults and children worldwide through social media platforms to join their criminal network and engage in these heinous acts.

There have been many cases where cats have been harmed at the hands of people who have no thought other than to abuse another living being whether it’s wrong state of mind or or fake animal rescue, but this is nothing compared to China’s Disturbing Cat Torture Cult.
