UPDATE OCT 18 2025
I am finding out that there have been some major changes made in the past two years that I was not aware of. I need some time to review and discuss with Russ Paton DSBC's position on the latest proposal that is under the comment period.
The new proposal is much smaller and does not include the area or route known as the "Thurston Loop" . However, it does include the Bridal Falls FSR.
Make sure if you comment that you refer to the present proposal by referring to this link https://comment.nrs.gov.bc.ca/applications?id=62e42d5e8da070002543eaa2&fbclid=IwY2xjawNgyY9leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFvQ0ZZNnVTVmlFOUNPelVuAR6uqk5Gfk6aZu1iAHxwbp0H-Ph8h3Jj5pXirC1_ZcS6mv3FKBi24GljqyN0CQ_aem_vO4Fju7C_noej2Qy8lWxDw#details
Sorry for adding more confusion to an already confusing issue

Two years ago, I thought that with the involvement of our respective ORV Associations BCORMA, ATVBC, 4x4ABC, and others, a collective solution could have been reached with the Bridal Falls Gondola Corp. It seems these guys have gone silent and are pushing ahead with their proposal, which includes closing off a large area that motorized recreation has enjoyed using for decades. This proposal included closing access to the "Thurston Loop" used by many different ORV groups regularly.
Either for or against this project, let's not allow a private for-profit company to close access to a public recreation resource.
Public Comment period closes soon, October 29, 2025, so use this link and please comment and let others know that they should comment as well. This will probably be our last chance
