Stop Cambridge Exam Leaks — Demand Justice for A-Level May/June 2025 Zone 2 Exam Leaks

Stop Cambridge Exam Leaks — Demand Justice for A-Level May/June 2025 Zone 2 Exam Leaks
The Issue
Each year, thousands of students across the globe pour their time, money, and energy into preparing for the Cambridge International Examinations. These students sacrifice sleep, social lives, and mental well-being to chase academic excellence and secure a promising future. Yet, time and again, their efforts are reduced to nothing when the exams they prepare for get leaked online.
This isn’t a one-time issue. It’s a recurring failure that has deeply eroded trust in the integrity of the Cambridge International Education Board. The Mathematics 9709 P1 is one of the most crucial papers in the curriculum, known for being the highest-scoring component. When it leaks, the damage is irreversible. Students who have spent months studying under immense pressure find themselves robbed of a fair chance to succeed. Their grades are compromised, university applications are affected, and in some countries, scholarships and career paths are jeopardized. This is more than just a breach of academic protocol—it is an act of injustice that deeply affects real lives. This year, not only the paper 1 but also M1, and rumors say even S1 was leaked beforehand.
With Exams such as Computer Science 9618 paper 1 getting cancelled throughout Punjab, Pakistan, AS and Alevel students had their hoped set for Paper 2, and just like you know as soon as you walk out the exam hall all happy, you find out your dreams have been crushed due to just a handfull of dishonest people.
Cambridge’s response, typically a “free retake,” is simply not enough. A retake means students must prepare all over again—not just for one paper, but often for the entire subject. This leads to an additional 4–5 months of stress and disruption. Many students are already enrolled in other subjects, applying to universities, or transitioning into new life phases. To ask them to go through this process again without any form of restitution is absurdly dismissive of their sacrifices.
We need to ask: how is it that a globally recognized institution like Cambridge, with partnerships with entities such as the British Council, continues to let this happen? What are the loopholes in their paper handling and security protocols? Why are no senior officials held accountable when the same exam keeps leaking year after year? From 2 Maths Exams to a computer science exam to even business and OLEVELS URDU, the amount of leaks this year shows ginormous flaws in the administration. These leaks are not isolated incidents—they’re symptoms of systemic negligence. And if millions of students are being affected by it every year, then it’s no longer just a problem—it’s a crisis.
We demand more than a perfunctory apology or a hastily organized retake. We demand transparency. We demand a full-scale independent investigation into the security protocols of Cambridge International. We demand structural reforms and real accountability within the organization. And most importantly, we demand that students who are affected by these leaks receive more than just a retake—they deserve additional support, clearer communication, and compensation for the months of preparation lost.
We will not remain silent as student futures continue to be jeopardized by the carelessness of those in power. It is time for Cambridge International to live up to the standards it claims to uphold.
Sign this petition and stand with the students who are tired of being let down. We demand justice. We demand change. Now.
