Stop bullying for our young, change the law!
The Issue
This....
Too many children suffer in the face of bullies.
Too many children suffer because there is NO law to protect them. Instead it is a rite of passage, you go through bullying as a child, it's like a badge of honour - "children are resilient", "sticks and stones", "what's doesn't kill you makes you stronger".....except, due to bullying some children take their lives......they are not stronger they, they are no longer resilient, they are dead!
We need laws in place to assist parents/guardians to take bullying to the police. We need laws in place to equip schools with more than just the option of a suspension!
We need laws in place to allow parents/guardians to challenge other parents/guardians of the "bully".
We need laws in place to support the "bullys", if there are Mental health issues that need to be addressed and, to PREVENT long term mental effects and subsequent SUICIDE, in the children being bullied, so that suicide is no longer a consequence of bullying.
Bullying is not acceptable. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN LAW (BULGER CASE) CHILDREN OVER 10 ARE FULLY AWARE OF RIGHT AND WRONG.... LET'S MAKE SURE THERE IS A LAW TO REINFORCE THIS AND TO PROTECT ALL OUR CHILDREN FROM BEING BULLIED......
