WHAT IS ANIMAL CRUELTY???
Animal cruelty is when someone hurts an animal or does not care for the animal like not feeding it, giving it water, keeping it tied up outside in the rain, sun or cold. Not providing medical care and treatment, no exercise ,using them for their selfish & monetary needs.
It’s against the law to be cruel to animals especially your pets and this is called animal cruelty or abuse.
Examples :
1. Imagine two or three puppies happily playing and running around carefree , without a care when suddenly they are surrounded by a group of unruly boys who start hitting them with sticks and stones , puppies crying out trying to escape but are caught by these boys, who tie up their legs and throw them from a building or into boiling water or fire. Their 
yells of pain & torture go unheard and unseen by onlookers and soon then are burnt to death or die by being flung from high storey buildings.
2. Imagine walking by a construction site and seeing an over-burdened mule, ass, donkey being hit and pocked by rods, sticks and whipped to move faster by the owners and many a time the poor animals fall down dead unable to work anymore.
3. Imagine a dancing bear being made to jump, dance at the sight of a stick and a dirty rope pierced painfully into its nose at a young age, monkeys been whipped and beaten to perform, snakes being shown to earn money by tying their mouths and removing their sensory organs cruelly, circus animals being beaten, starved, tied –up and made to forcibly perform in spite of being old, and feeble.

Second is the posting of Cruelty Videos on Social Media which is not only disturbing but shows the sadisitic mentality of the person taking the video, enjoying it , laughing at it and getting TRP's . Have we become so insenitive that these acts of cruelty do not affect us just because we feel they are mere animals ... they are  HUMANS like all of us .. they speak , they feel pain, hunger and suffer for no reason at all.. They have a right to live, survive like any of us.

I request all animal lovers, activists , NGO;to join hands with me and ask the government and AWBI to bring out a bill to punish the culprit and to ban the posting of videos just for the sake of amusement.

We all animal lovers plead for relief towards animal suffering  and a place where we all can live our lives together in peace and love.
