The Issue

We, the concerned citizens and residents of Singapore, call on the Government to pause the establishment of the Gates Foundation office until all legal, ethical, and political concerns are fully addressed.

This is not about politics or personalities. It is about protecting Singapore’s sovereignty, reputation, and the health and safety of our people.

The Gates Foundation may appear philanthropic, but a deeper look raises serious red flags. If we move forward blindly, we risk foreign interference, public distrust, and entanglement in global scandals.

⚠️ Here’s What You Need to Know

1. Bill Gates’ Epstein Ties
Bill Gates had repeated meetings with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. U.S. authorities are about to release more files that could expose deeper links. Until these investigations are complete, Singapore should not associate itself with the Gates Foundation.

2. Lack of Transparency

The Gates Foundation funds over 80% of the World Health Organization but ranks only “fair” in transparency. This kind of financial influence—without proper oversight—can quietly shape health policies, media narratives, and national decisions.

3. Singapore’s Constitution Was Changed
In 2023, Singapore’s Constitution was amended to allow our President to sit on foreign boards like the World Economic Forum (WEF), where Gates also has strong influence. This raises questions about foreign interests creeping into our top leadership.

4. Censorship During Elections

During the 2025 General Elections, the People’s Power Party (PPP) allegedly stated that parts of their speech—especially on vaccine safety—were omitted from mainstream media coverage. This mirrored what happened during the Covid-19 pandemic, where many discussions about vaccine-related side effects were labelled “misinformation” and removed from online platforms.

What raises public concern is the timing: just two days after these omissions, Bill Gates appeared in Singapore to announce the opening of the Gates Foundation’s new regional office.

This sequence of events raises a serious question: Could foreign-linked organisations have had any influence over media coverage during our elections?

We are not making direct allegations. But given the Gates Foundation’s documented history of funding global media and public health messaging—including outlets that moderated or removed dissenting views—this matter deserves open public debate and parliamentary scrutiny.

The Gates Foundation has donated hundreds of millions of dollars to international media and health institutions. While this may be acceptable elsewhere, in Singapore, it raises a legitimate question:

Should any foreign foundation have this level of influence over our media, health messaging, and even potential election discourse?

We believe Singaporeans must be fully informed, and our democratic space must be protected from unexamined foreign influence.

🗳️ Elections must be fair and independent—not shaped by powerful money or outside agendas.

5. Temasek Ties

Ho Ching, Chair of Temasek Trust and wife of the former PM, sat on the board of Wellcome Leap—a group linked to controversial biotech research. Wellcome Leap works with CEPI, which is co-funded by the Gates Foundation. This shows a network of power and influence behind closed doors.

6. Ongoing Legal Cases Worldwide
The Gates Foundation is entangled in lawsuits and controversies around the world:

1) U.S. investigations into Dr. Fauci’s role in risky lab research
2) Allegations of censorship between officials and Big Tech

Do we really want to invite this chaos into Singapore?

7. Philanthro-Political Overreach:  Media & Policy Influence

The Gates Foundation’s financial ecosystem includes:

  • US$300M in Moderna and Pfizer investments
  • US$55M equity in BioNTech
  • US$1.6B pledged to GAVI
  • Donated US$319M to major media outlets
  • Funded groups accused of suppressing public debate
  • US$319M in media grants to outlets like NPR and The Guardian

This creates a vested interest in controlling public discourse on vaccine safety. The pattern mirrors George Soros’ Open Society model—where philanthropy becomes a vehicle for political and media influence.

Singapore must not become another outpost for such unregulated power.

This petition is not affiliated with any political party, but we find it troubling that Bill Gates’ presence in Singapore was confirmed just days after GE2025, where concerns about public health accountability were raised. This timing only increases public suspicion and underscores the need for open parliamentary debate and public consultation.

📢 Our Call:
We urge the Singapore Government to:

  • Pause the establishment of the Gates Foundation office until investigations are concluded
  • Disclose all planned partnerships and funding agreements
  • Hold public consultations to evaluate potential risks
  • Ensure media and health policy independence from foreign influence
  • Uphold Article 19 of the Constitution
  • Prohibit gain-of-function research without informed public consent

🇸🇬 Conclusion:
Singapore is not for sale.
We call on our leaders to act with caution, transparency, and fidelity to national interests.
The people have a right to know, to question, and to protect the sovereignty of our country.
