Hi All,

The City Council of Peoria is hoping we give up fighting locating Amkor in Vistancia. Amkor is NOT a done deal! Our attorneys are confident in our case against the city, but WE need to be the voice. WE need to show up at this Tuesday’s city council meeting. Let’s pack the place! 

This is the last council meeting for the summer and the last one before they probably will approve Amkor’s site plan.  We let the City Council know about all the people that have signed this petition in the last council meeting. 

We had media at our last Council meeting where we stated our intent to litigate if they issued Amkor a building permit because it violates Peoria's own zoning process and laws.  There will more than likely be media at Tuesday's council meeting as well.  Carpool and invite your neighbors!  We normally have about 30 people.  We need hundreds of people at this meeting.  Wear a white shirt or top so we stand out as a group.

At the end of the council meeting, there is an opportunity to speak for 3 minutes for anyone who desires to do so.  Fill out a speakers request sheet at the front of the chamber by the podium.  Let them know what you think about putting a huge industrial plant in the middle of our town square that drains 2 million gallons of water a day!  They need to hear it from their constituents whom they serve at our pleasure.
