Factory farming is one of the most appalling things one can ever do to any animal. What I mean is the animals are subjected to routine mutilations (For example, cattle being de-horned, chickens being de-beaked, hot brand branding, castration, artificial impregnation of cattle and pigs as well as tail docking of sheep, pigs and cattle raised for dairy), and extreme confinement (For instance, battery cages and gestation crates). These inhumane practices have GOT TO STOP. I want there to be a federal law that prohibits factory farming. Help me to put an end to this unbearable cruelty and only allow high-welfare farming (For example, animals that are pasture raised). Let us have the say-so in how our meat and eggs are raised! Make all restaurants chains, meat companies, supermarkets and food companies stop supporting animal cruelty!
