The journal Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology retracted it due to "serious ethical concerns," citing "misrepresentation," "ghostwriting," and "potential conflicts of interest."

Internal Monsanto emails, revealed in court, show the truth:

· The 2000 paper was the product of three years of "hard work" by Monsanto scientists.
· Company executives celebrated using this "independent" paper to defend their product worldwide.
· One Monsanto scientist later suggested "ghost-writing" another paper the same way: "Recall that is how we handled Williams Kroes and Munro 2000."

This wasn't science. It was a corporate PR campaign dressed up as academic research. It was designed to give regulators cover to approve this poison and to keep the public in the dark.

The human cost of this lie is immeasurable.

How many forestry workers, community members, and families living downwind of sprayed tracts have gotten sick? How many cancers, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and others could have been prevented if independent, honest science had been heeded instead of this manufactured "consensus"?

The damage is done, and it extends into our future.

Even if we ban this poison tomorrow, which we must, the legacy of this corruption will haunt us for decades. Our forests, soaked in yearly applications of this carcinogen, have become toxic reservoirs. When these forests burn, as they do with increasing fury, the smoke doesn't just carry carbon. It likely carries glyphosate and its byproducts, oozing cancer-causing smoke into our lungs and communities for generations to come.

And while we count human lives lost, let's also remember what else we've killed: the milkweed, the lifeline of the Monarch butterfly. We have systematically destroyed their food supply in a chemical war on our landscape. Their silent, beautiful decline is a direct indicator of the poison we've poured onto the land.

This retraction is not the end. It is the beginning of accountability.

It proves what we have long suspected: the public trust was betrayed for profit. Our health was sacrificed for "Freedom to Operate."

This petition is more urgent than ever. We are not just arguing over herbicide preferences. We are demanding an end to a practice built on a foundation of scientific fraud, one that continues to jeopardize human health, poison our ecosystems, and steal our future.
