STOP AI IN MUSIC, PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO – SAVE CREATIVE JOBS!

SAVE THE CREATIVITY
We call for strong, clear rules to protect music, photography, and video from the unchecked spread of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Behind every song, image, and film is a person’s story, passion, and craft. But as AI-generated works flood our platforms, the unique voices and livelihoods of real artists are being drowned out. If we don’t act now, we risk losing not only jobs, but the human heart at the center of creativity.
What’s the issue?
Every day, more songs, images, and videos created by AI appear on platforms like Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram often without any clear labeling. In fact, 71% of social media images are now AI generated, and AI generated videos make up 40% of video content on major platforms. This wave of machine made content is overwhelming the work of real artists, making it harder for human voices to be heard. As a result, creative people are losing opportunities, artistic standards are slipping, and our culture is being shaped more by algorithms than by genuine human emotion and experience. If we don’t set boundaries now, we risk letting technology drown out the soul of our creative communities.
We call for the following:
1. Mandatory labeling of AI generated content
Every AI-created song, image, and video must be clearly marked as artificial on all platforms and media.
2. Ban on using copyrighted works for AI training without consent
No creative work should be used to train AI without the artist’s explicit permission.
3. Fair competition rules
Platforms must ensure that human-made content is not overshadowed or buried by mass-produced AI content.
4. Funding for humans, not machines
Public and private arts funding should support human creators, not companies replacing them with AI.
5. Establishment of an international AI ethics board for the arts
This body should develop guidelines and recommendations to ensure AI use in art respects human creators and culture.

Why this matters:
True art is made by people for people. It carries emotions, personal stories, struggle, joy, heritage, and soul. No machine can replicate that. If we allow AI to dominate the creative industries, we risk losing our cultural identity, artistic diversity, and countless jobs in music, visual arts, and media.
This petition is addressed to:
Governments around the world
The European Commission and UN cultural organizations
Major content and streaming platforms
Technology companies and AI developers
Join us in protecting the soul of creativity. Let art stay human.
