thank you for staying with it on such a long campaign. We're all profoundly disturbed by the destructive cowboy-ism on display.
You can do three things that would really help just now please.
1. Could you write to the Minister for Finance, Senator Katie Gallagher to simply ask why the Australian Tax Office is wasting huge amounts of taxpayer money, as below, moving into Walker Tower 2? How does she justify it to herself?
That's a total cost of over $80m in the first year, and $7.5m per year thereafter:
Adelaide Now yesterday talked of a fit out for the ATO of $73 million, and rents in the building are about 35% above market rates, and will therefore cost taxpayers of the order of $7.5m extra per year. This is especially scandalous in the current economic climate.

It's clear that the ATO has enabled the destructive build on Festival Plaza, which is even more scandalous.
2. Please sign our new NoTaxTower petition as soon as you can. It's very important and needs to move quickly.
3. If you can possibly manage it, a donation to the billboard campaign would be hugely appreciated. We would like to do two more weeks which would require about $2000. There are some who have been very generous who we have not been able to thank personally because we don't have your email address- thank you anyway
