As an autistic individual, I am deeply concerned about the intrusion into our private lives by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Health and Human Services (HHS), and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his associates. It is urgent we have the ability to protect our privacy, especially at this time in history, given the dangerous pseudoscience and blatant lies about autism and autistic individuals that is being supported and spread by this administration. This encroachment strips us of our privacy rights and also puts us at risk of misuse and discrimination. It's important that we protect our privacy rights for the sake of the wellbeing and dignity of autistic children and adults. Not only is this a blatant disregard for the rights of autistic folks, it is a blatant disregard of the safeguards put in place at institutions of research to protect vulnerable populations from exploitation. 

We need to show this administration, The NIH, HHS, and RFK Jr that autistic folks, their allies, and their caregivers DO NOT WANT THIS. Nothing about us, without us.
