Being in an out of the system of residential and wilderness therapy has opened my eyes to how humanity treats those who struggle a little bit more. The stories I’ve heard and Witnessed are beyond unhealthy and dangerous. Most people don’t understand how inhumane these places are and how “students” are stripped of who they are. I’m starting this petition to advocate for those who can’t. And for those that have died by the hands of staff while in this system. The goal of the petition is to shut down the abusive treatment centers and work on getting a safer and more humane option.
