The Issue

My name is Nguyen Ngoc Thao, and I am writing this petition because I believe our community deserves transparent, respectful, and accountable leadership.
Over the past year, serious public concerns and allegations have emerged regarding Based Taiwan, the former Second Leader of the Anti-Emoji Cat Action (AECA). These concerns have led to disputes within the community, including disagreements over governance, leadership, and the ownership of the original AECA flag and emblem. Because those symbols remain under the control of their original creator, many members believe they can no longer represent an independent community.

As a result, many former members chose to establish the Anti-Emoji Cat Sphere (AECS) as an independent community with its own identity, leadership, and values. Our goal is not to encourage harassment or retaliation against any individual. Instead, we seek to build a community founded on transparency, accountability, mutual respect, and the protection of all members.

We are also aware of public allegations involving the former leadership. We believe these matters should be addressed through appropriate legal and community processes. If anyone has been harmed, they deserve to be heard, treated with dignity, and supported through lawful procedures.

  • Through this petition, we respectfully call for:
Recognition of the Anti-Emoji Cat Sphere as an independent community.
  • Retirement of the original AECA flag and emblem in favor of new community symbols.
  • A transparent and respectful transition to new community leadership.
  • Stronger standards against harassment, intimidation, abuse of authority, and retaliation.
  • Support for individuals who report misconduct through appropriate channels.
  • Respect for freedom of expression, responsible community governance, and constructive dialogue.

By signing this petition, you voluntarily support these principles and our vision for a healthier, safer, and more respectful community.

Together, we can build a community based on respect, accountability, openness, and positive change.
