My beautiful young pup was killed by my neighbours 1080 poison.
She was well within the boundaries of her own property, she had never gone onto his land yet she is dead from this cruel poison. Killed within the safety of her own boundaries.
The pasture protection board issue these baits but don’t seem to ever check the recipient follows the rules…. For over four years he has been baiting, only once has he told me and my other neighbour states in that four years he has never told her. We both share the longest boundaries with this man but when asking other neighbours,that are separated by a river boundary, he has never told them either.
I could go into a graphic description of her agonising death, step by step as I went through each stage with her…. It was the worst thing I witnessed plus the grief I am still suffering from the death of such a young innocent and beautiful pup. I go from anger to sadness to frustration to dark thoughts but now I’m asking for help…. Help to get this poison banned in the Eurobodalla shire.
It not only kills family pets, it can kill anything that eats the dead carcass. We fight for the protection of eagles, hawks and many birds of prey but they are at risk of death from this poison and what a painful cruel death it is.
During one of my pups seizures she bit into my arm, her insizer teeth going through my flesh and out the other side, damaging my tendons. She did not do this on purpose, it  was the poison causing her to seize. I have three children and had she bitten down onto their arm the damage could have been disasterous. How many of you realise that this could happen, how many know the pain and agony an animal experiences, how many realised a bird could eat a bait and fly into your back yard and die thus causing the death of your family pets….
Please help me to have this poison banned
