What is the ‘ roadmap’ for providing support to the Entertainment sector ?

My utmost gratitude to the 1,825 people whom have signed ‘Save our SA stages 2021’ petition- and everyone whom has shared/ donated/ mentioned/ forwarded this petition on. 

There continues to be bans on singing and dancing and capping venue capacity at 75% - despite an increase in  AFL football semi-final game capacity, from 15,00 to 20,000.

There continues to be a complete lack of ability to plan and budget for gigs and events.

There continues to be no structures in place that ensure prompt and direct reparative financial support for businesses and individuals, in the event of gigs, tours and events being cancelled. 
Crowdsourced survey ‘ I lost my gig’ reported that in 2020 alone, $200 million was lost . $64 million has been lost since July 2021. 

A spokesperson for the Arts Minister is quoted as saying, “ It is decisions made by State Government Health authorities which trigger the business losses faced by the producers , of Arts and Entertainment events.”
