"Isn't there something else you can do?" ( other than being a musician)

Hi everyone. Sending out my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you whom have signed/ shared/donated/ encouraged ' Save our SA stages 2021' . This petition is proving to be an uphill battle, as I was told it would be, by the radio announcer who asked me ( on Wednesday afternoon, on air), " isn't there something else you can do ?" - other than being a musician. This very simple question underlines the diminishing respect for just how important our music and musicians are. While I am very much aware that there are heartbreaking atrocities going on in the rest of the world, we also have local musicians whom cannot see an end to their livelihoods being decimated. Please sign and share widely. It is the only way that our collective voice will be heard. Let's make it a loud roar that cannot be ignored.
