Dancing and stand up consumption should be allowed at weddings in South Australia.

While we are committed to protecting ourselves, our loved ones and the community against COVID-19, we believe that the government should lift some restrictions when it comes to weddings.

Couples are spending a fortune on their special day without knowing if restrictions will be lifted. This is causing emotional and financial stress for anyone planning a wedding. Dancing is a right of passage at weddings as many would argue that it is the best part. Cocktail weddings are especially suffering from these restrictions as sit down consumption would deter guests from interacting with one another and truly enjoying themselves. NSW is currently allowing dancing at weddings while their case numbers are much higher than SA. 

What we're asking for:

- Stand up consumption to be allowed &

- Dancing (up to 50 people at indoor venues) allowed at weddings by 18 February 2022. 

If guests are able to take an antigen test and use the Covid Safe check in, we believe that this is reducing any potential risks of passing on the virus.
