Stop the Golf Course in Recovering Mohegan Park Forest

Stop the Golf Course in Recovering Mohegan Park Forest
The Issue
Several years ago the city officials in Norwich allowed their friends/cronies at Chelsea Botanical Gardens to clear-cut our only forest in Mohegan Park. These connected business owners of Norwich wanted to clear the entire 90 acres, but people of Norwich fought and stopped them, only after 12 acres of land was cleared.
After, the Mayor and City Council promised the people of Norwich that they would demand that their friends replant the devastated forest of Mohegan Park. But as you would expect they let their friends just walk away without a penny to replant or repair the forest.
The forest now has had 5 years to regrow (pic shown), and the City has allowed yet another group of friends take over the committee that controls the Forest. This group seeks to put in a Frisbee Golf Course and parking lots into the recovering forest, for a city park that has over 500 unused parking spots everyday, while there are 100's of other places to put this course either in the park or the city that already has accommodations, parking and rest facilities.
The city seems to have a vested interest in seeing this land destroyed, their personal feelings blinding environmental stewardship.
