We, the undersigned, petition the State House of Representatives and State Senate to introduce a bill that requires all state government officials to undergo SSBI/SCI and GKT screenings. We are aware that the GKT (guilty knowledge test); when used by trained security personnel; has an over 95% accuracy rate. We recognize that compromised government officials pose a grave national security threat; both personally, and in the hands of foreign governments.
Our system of law, which protects our safety and security, needs to be free of security threats. Over many decades, a steady stream of sexual predators have flowed into government positions. Although some have been caught and disciplined, (however effectively or ineffectively); they were in positions where they could affect social policy, before they were caught: in many cases, for decades.
Sexual offenders against children should never be allowed to hold such positions in the first place.
Technology such as the GKT and SSBI/SCI screenings are available and already mandated by the federal government: with scientifically proven effectiveness. We, as people who visit, live in, and/or care for the United States of America; deserve to benefit from the security that these technologies provide. Our children; and families; and selves: deserve to be protected from rapists and sexual offenders against children; who infiltrate positions of policymaking, law enforcement, judiciary, prosecution, and administration of justice.
For all these reasons, we ask the the representatives in the State House and Senate; submit bills mandating GKT and SSBI/SCI screenings to be administered by qualified and appropriate security personnel: to every State government official, member of the State Bar, law enforcement officer, and recipient of any pension or benefit intended for such State Officers.
